Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled anesthesiologist to join our academic medical center. You will administer and manage anesthesia throughout perioperative care, and evaluate patients' medical histories prior to surgery to ensure optimal outcomes.

MD/DO with an Anesthesiology residency is required; board certification or eligibility and Nevada medical licensure are expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with an Anesthesiology residency and 3 years of clinical practice in anesthesiology.
• Board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Nevada medical license and DEA registration; BLS/ACLS/PALS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage anesthesia before, during and after surgery.
• Evaluate patients' medical history and medications prior to anesthesia.
• Comply with regulatory, licensing and hospital standards to ensure patient safety.
