Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years inpatient nursing in adult acute care.
• Telemetry experience or completion of EKG class.
• External candidates must have BSN; internal with ADN ok if enrolled in BSN.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong English communication and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Evaluate outcomes, revise plans, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Serve as role model and mentor to students and new nurses.
• Act as Patient Care Coordinator as requested by supervisor.
