Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health’s Moorestown Surgery Center seeks a qualified Surgical Technologist to join its operating room team. Under supervision of the RN or physician, you will assist in general, orthopedic, GI, gynecologic, vascular and minimally invasive procedures, supporting pre- and post-operative care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, NBSTSA or equivalent credential, 1 year of experience preferred, per diem availability, and 15 hours of annual

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited program for Surgical Technologists.
• Certification NBSTSA or equivalent credentialing organization.
• Per Diem status; NJ practice requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under supervision of the Registered Nurse or physician.
• Support pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care in the surgical suite.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
