Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a surgical specialty clinic.
• CCMA/CMAC certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school plus related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for provider evaluations by taking vital signs and recording data.
• Assist with wound care, injections, and minor procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of facility and provider time.
• Schedule surgeries and obtain authorizations for diagnostics and durable medical equipment (DME).
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails while ensuring timely follow-up.
