Job summary

Everleap Fertility is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Center Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative phases. The role includes nursing assessments, IV therapy, and coordination to ensure high-quality patient care.

Training to perform all required functions will be provided as needed in collaboration with the surgical team. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with BLS/ACLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support to the patient during pre-operative, operative and post-operative stages.
• Coordinates pre-operative and post-operative activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Completes patient pre-operative assessments and documents according to policy.
• Assists in setup and case transport; supports the surgical team.
• Receives patient from PACU with hand-off and relevant history.
• Monitors patients for condition changes and reports to physician.
• Reviews discharge instructions with patient/family and answers questions.
• Aids in preparing the patient for discharge with continuity of nursing care.
• Follows infection control and safety precautions in all duties.
