LearnWell in Madison, WI, is seeking a part-time per diem teacher to support child and adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. The role involves planning and delivering daily lessons, offering individualized help, and reporting on progress in a small classroom of 15–20 students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for the patients in treatment.

• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Madison & West Allis, WI on a part-time per diem status. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.
