Job summary

LearnWell is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team in Madison and West Allis, WI on a part-time per diem basis. You will work in a behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

You will plan and deliver daily lessons, provide individualized assistance, communicate student progress, and adjust teaching strategies to support success. Class sizes typically 15–20 students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Wisconsin teaching license required.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage small classroom environments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Madison & West Allis, WI on a part-time per diem status. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.
