Job summary

LearnWell in New Baltimore, Michigan, seeks a full-time teacher to join a behavioral health-focused facility for the school year. You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized student support, and communicate progress with families and staff.

The role involves working with 15–20 students in a small classroom, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, healthcare, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in New Baltimore, Michigan on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support tochild and adolescentschool-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a40-houra week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00pm.
