Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Department Technician for a per-diem role in New Hampshire. You will handle decontamination, set assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes, supporting patient care across Concord Hospital and affiliates.

The ideal candidate has sterile processing experience and certification within 2 years (IAHCSMM or CSPDT). You will follow guidelines, maintain documentation and provide timely, safe service to our patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Follows manufacturer's guidelines for steam and low-temperature sterilization and uses the Steris IQ tracking system.
• Performs decontamination and disinfection of instrumentation and flexible endoscopes per standards.
• Inspects instrument kits and case carts for assembly and inspection.
• Adheres to hospital policies and AAMI guidelines.
• Maximizes productivity and demonstrates time management.
• Contributes to department growth and supports peers.
• Delivers prompt, quality service for patients.
• Expedites turnover of surgical instrumentation.
• Performs job-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
