This position requires effective communication and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans. Flexibility and a commitment to ongoing education are essential. The successful candidate will participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care in various settings.

Formación

• Must pass an annual competency assessment conducted by a Speech Pathologist.
• Administers standard formal evaluations based on factors such as patient age and diagnosis.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner and plans individual treatment programs.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patient deficits and administers appropriate treatment procedures.
• Provides instruction to team regarding patient's functional needs.
• Trains patient and/or patient’s family/caregiver regarding patients care needs.

Conocimientos

Current CA Speech Pathologist license

BLS

One year of infant, pediatric, and adolescent experience

Effective communication

Educación

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
