We have a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity doing home health visits in the Carbon County area.

Must be able to work at least 2 days a week between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
2. Perform evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
3. Develop treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and goals.
4. Assess and revise care plans, and participate in multidisciplinary care planning with BAYADA clinicians.
5. Educate patients, families, and caregivers in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
6. Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using a touch pad tablet.

Qualifications:

1. Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in PA.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or equivalent education and work experience, with pending certification examination.
3. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
