Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support residents across the continuum of care with screenings, evaluations, treatments, and training. You’ll work on-site with an interdisciplinary team. Minimum 1 year of older adult therapy experience preferred.

CPR certificate and a state license where applicable are required. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and opportunities to grow within Erickson’s expanding communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with the older adult population in therapies preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current valid state license (where applicable) in occupational therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings across the community continuum of care.
• Follow Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies in care provision, documentation, billing, and resident rights.
• Provide holistic support to residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Implement personal care plans focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and routines while offering comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to address resident needs throughout care.
