Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Speech Therapist to organize and conduct therapy programs, facilitating rehabilitation for patients. Responsibilities include evaluating new patients, adjusting treatment plans, and educating patients and families.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy and possess a California State SLP License. This position offers per diem status with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred, but accepting new graduates.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must adhere to ASHA Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts speech therapy programs for rehabilitation.
• Evaluates new speech therapy patients and reassesses ongoing patients.
• Documents progress notes and discharge assessments.

Skills

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Knowledge of principles of growth and development

Education

Master’s of Arts or Science degree from ASHA approved school of Speech Therapy

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
