Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Laurel Highland in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem role. The position emphasizes evaluation and treatment of speech and swallowing disorders in a post-ICU setting, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop goal-oriented plans, and participate in program improvements while maintaining patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication and/or swallowing function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy staff to monitor quality of services.
