Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem LTAC setting. You will provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities for adults and geriatric patients.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential, with careful documentation and regulatory compliance. Qualifications include a master's in SLP, ASHA CCC requirements or equivalent, valid state license, CPR, and at least six months of adult/geriatric

Qualifications

• Master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or ASHA-certified requirements.
• Certification/CCP: meet ASHA CCC requirements.
• Minimum six months of adult/geriatric Speech-Language Pathology experience.
• Current and unrestricted SLP license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Document patient care per regulatory, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and charges.
• Educate families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and a safe, clean work area.
• Adhere to company policies and applicable laws.
