Job summary

Caretenders, part of LHC Group, invites applications for a per diem Social Worker role. The incumbent will provide medical social services under physician direction to support patients and families in navigating social and emotional factors affecting health.

Required are a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Local licensure as a Social Worker and CPR certification are preferred; 1+ year health-care social work experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work
• Current Driver's License with vehicle access or reliable transportation
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Licensed Social Worker in the state of residence (e.g., KY)
