Prestige Care Center of Fairfield is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their in-house rehabilitation team. The SLP will provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans for patients with speech and swallowing disorders. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Iowa license. The position offers a $75/hour pay rate, flexible scheduling, and professional growth opportunities in a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Prior experience in subacute, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings (preferred).
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services per physician orders and facility policies.
• Document evaluations and progress notes in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in case conferences and ongoing clinical training.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and facility policies.
