Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem home health role in the Dover, DE area. You will visit adult and geriatric clients, assess communications and swallowing disorders, and implement therapeutic plans within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, documenting care, and educating patients and families to support at-home health and independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Delaware.
• ASHA CCC or pursuing certification.
• Equivalent education and supervised experience may qualify for certification.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Assess and treat speech, language, swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and update treatment plans with physician orders.
• Document care in EMR and coordinate with care team.
• Educate patients and families to promote home health independence.
