Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab in Greendale, Wisconsin is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You will evaluate and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support quality of life.

We value flexible scheduling, ongoing education, and reliable patient-focused care in a long-term care setting. Wisconsin licensure required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Wisconsin licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
• Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive impairments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient-centered goals
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment
• Participate in staff meetings and educational in-services to stay current with best practices and industry developments
