Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Roaring River in Cassville, MO is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem/PRN work within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

You will assess, treat, and document progress for residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Missouri.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
• Establish and maintain a caseload of residents with communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Conduct therapy sessions in individual and group settings.
• Document resident progress and communicate with family members and healthcare team members.
