Position Summary

We are seeking a Per Diem Senior Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, or ARDMS certification. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations, operate ultrasound equipment, and provide training to students.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using various modes and techniques.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality images and record data.
• Train and guide Ultrasound Technology students during clinical training.
• Follow departmental protocols and ensure proper documentation and patient safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, performing quality control checks.
• Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient information and examination requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology program.
• Registered or eligible to take the ARDMS exam within one year of hire.

Required Licenses

• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Nuchal Translucency Certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and Vascular Technologist.
