Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem-Senior Ultrasound Technologist-Specialty - Obs/Gyn/MFM/ARDMS.

In this role, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality images and perform studies in required modalities. Provide training and guidance to Ultrasound Technology students.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in various modes and techniques.
  2. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality images.
  3. Evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
  4. Train and guide Ultrasound Technology students during clinical training.
  5. Follow departmental protocols and standards for patient procedures.
  6. Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, report malfunctions.
  7. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital information systems for scheduling and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications

Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology program. Registered or eligible to take the ARDMS exam within 1 year of hire.

Required Licenses

Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Preferred Licenses

Nuchal Translucency Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist.

Qualified candidates must communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
