Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Senior Living Physical Therapist in North Carolina to deliver age-appropriate rehabilitation services from adult to geriatric patients. You will assess, treat, supervise support staff, and educate patients and families while integrating with the care team.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, adherence to facility standards, and participation in PI programs, with a compensation structure including per visit point pay and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient to determine rehab potential and creates an individualized plan of care.
• Sets initial STG's and LTG's.
• Utilizes equipment safely and maintains logs for inspection, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Maintains equipment logs for required equipment in the outpatient clinic.
• Follows medical regimens and precautions (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.).
• Performs safe treatment techniques: transfers, positioning, splinting, and more.
• Completes discharge summaries on final visits.
• Participates in team and family conferences and PI programs.
