Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for 7 East – Acute Surgical Specialties. The RN provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical unit under supervision and rotates shifts, with per diem status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• At least one year of RN experience, preferably in an acute or sub-acute setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and revise plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, leadership, and professional communication.
• Adhere to Lahey Clinic nursing policies, procedures, and ethics.
