Job summary

The UW Medical Center-Montlake Urology Clinic in Seattle seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in an outpatient setting, focusing on cancers of the prostate and bladder and other urologic conditions. This role offers flexible schedules, day shifts 8:00am-5:00pm, and opportunities to cover staffing vacancies, with preference for those able to work at least six shifts per month.

Candidates must have 2 years of relevant nursing experience, BLS, and an active Washington

Qualifications

• 2 years of oncology, urology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where legally required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with prostate, bladder, and other urologic cancers.
• Perform catheter changes, specimen collection, and intravesical treatments in a clinic setting.
• Perform port and PICC lining blood draws and care.
• Assist our providers during minimally invasive procedures.
• Conduct Epic InBasket triage and telephone triage.
