Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, seeks ReadyMED Nurses for per diem coverage in Hudson, MA. You will provide direct nursing care and post-visit telephonic support, documenting patient data in the EMR for physician review at the next clinic visit.

The role involves travel up to 25% to nearby sites and a flexible schedule, with compensation based on hourly pay. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Collect symptoms and detailed patient history; coordinate with health care team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Perform triage considering physical and psychosocial elements.
• Conduct testing/diagnostics per department protocol before Provider evaluation.
• Manage basic life support needs and stabilize patients until the physician is available.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse signs.
• Record patients' vital signs.
