Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatrics team in Framingham, MA. This per diem position includes pre-visit and post-visit telephonic support, patient education, and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record for physician review at the next visit.

You will deliver direct patient care, support the care team, and ensure age-appropriate nursing practices while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Massachusetts.
• Proven knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective patient care directly to patients or through telephone management.
• Consistently documents all the aspects of patient care and patient education. Reports pertinent information to physician.
• Ensures nursing judgments and plan are based on physical and psychosocial needs.
• Identifies emergency situations and initiates appropriate nursing orders/interventions.
