First Choice Nurses is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem opportunities in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Earn competitive per diem pay and pick shifts that fit your schedule, with day and night availability.

Requirements include Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, and current TB test. Per diem roles offer healthcare system exposure and flexible scheduling.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized PCU equipment.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure care.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemptionAdditional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
• Provide patient and family education
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs
