Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, WA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Perioperative Care Unit (PCU) on a per diem basis. The role involves preparing patients for surgical procedures across diverse specialties and requires current WA RN licensure, ACLS and CPR certifications, and 5+ years in acute care.

Per diem day/evening shifts with varying hours are offered. We value excellent patient service and communication, with first-week rhythm interpretation competency if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• WA Registered Nurse license current (compact allowed).
• 5+ years recent acute care nursing experience.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Recent Pre-op/Phase II nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Rhythm interpretation competency may be required in first week for selected units.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures.
• Care for patient populations including Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.
