Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Employee Health team on a per diem basis. This role supports the Infection Control and Safety Committees in coordinating occupational health services for Nash Health Care System employees.

You will handle pre-employment, post-hire, and annual screenings, assist with workers' compensation, and ensure compliance with OSHA and related standards.

Qualifications

• RN license and NC licensure required.
• Experience in occupational health or infection control preferred.
• Strong communication and education skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee health screenings (pre-employment, post hire, annual).
• Assist with Worker's Compensation processing and OSHA/JCAHO compliance.
• Collaborate with Infection Control and Safety Committees.
• Maintain records and documentation for occupational health programs.
• Provide education on employee health and safety to staff.
