Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's Cardio Thoracic Surgery Associates in Tacoma, WA seeks a Per Diem Navigator RN to guide patients through complex healthcare journeys. You will assess needs, educate on options, and coordinate care with multiple providers, serving as a central contact and advocacy throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Three (3) years of related professional nursing experience in a clinical focus area.
• Current RN license in Washington and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across the continuum for assigned patients.
• Educate patients on treatment options and coordinate across providers.
• Act as a central point of contact and advocate for patients and families.
• Track data, support clinical protocols, and participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain policies and standards in line with Joint Commission goals.
