Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) per diem to provide high-quality patient care on designated daily shifts. You will work under supervision, collaborate with the care team, and seek guidance from senior clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Essential duties include patient assessments, data analysis to guide treatment, and adherence to protocols to promote safety. A NC RN license and BLS CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
• Current North Carolina RN license or Compact state.
• BLS CPR certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient assessments, examinations, and treatments to support personalized daily care.
• Supports analysis of patient data to guide medical decisions and interventions.
• Helps implement prescribed interventions with adherence to protocols and safety.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Seeks guidance from senior medical staff on complex patient situations to ensure optimal care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
