Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem to deliver high-quality patient care on designated daily shifts, under supervision and with guidance from senior clinicians to address challenging circumstances and ensure optimal outcomes. The position requires an Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and NC RN licensure (or compact state), plus BLS/CPR certification.

A minimum of one year of RN experience in a clinical specialty is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessments, examinations, and treatments to support daily patient care.
• Analyze patient data to guide medical decisions and interventions.
• Help implement prescribed treatments, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Seek guidance from senior clinicians on complex cases to ensure optimal care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
