Job summary

Karing Hearts Home Health in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a compassionate Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in patients' homes and provide care with independence.

The role requires active California RN licensure, IV infusion experience, and strong assessment skills. Flexible per diem schedule and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years IV infusion or home health nursing preferred.
• Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion including PICC lines.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently in home care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Reliable transportation with CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies in the home setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
• Document patient care, clinical findings, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to coordinate and adjust patient treatment plans
• Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required per diem schedule

Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in Los Angeles, CA. • Administer IV infusion therapies including IVIG, antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, hydration, and other specialty medications in the home setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
• Accurately document patient care, clinical findings, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to coordinate and adjust patient treatment plans
• Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required per diem schedule

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1-2 years of IV infusion or home health nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion, including PICC lines, central lines, and implanted ports
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license with proof of insurance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care environment
• CPR/BLS certification required
