Job summary

Karing Hearts Home Health is seeking a compassionate Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in Orange, CA. You will deliver high-quality infusion therapy in patients' homes, working independently in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of IV/infusion or home health experience, valid CA RN license, and CPR/BLS certification. Flexible per diem scheduling and opportunities for advancement are available within our supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Minimum 1–2 years IV/infusion or home health nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PICC line and central venous access management.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies in the home setting (antibiotics, TPN, chemo, hydration).
• Perform patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion therapy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and home care protocols.
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral IVs, PICCs, and central venous access devices.
• Document clinical findings and progress accurately and timely.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists and the care team.
• Respond to on-call needs on a per diem schedule.

Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in Orange, CA. Responsibilities:

• Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, and hydration in the home setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral IVs, PICCs, and central venous access devices
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required per diem schedule

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted California RN license required
• Minimum 1-2 years of IV/infusion therapy or home health nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in PICC line and central line access and management
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
• Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule
