Job summary

Karing Hearts Home Health is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Home Infusion team in Laguna Niguel, CA. You'll deliver IV infusion therapy in patients' homes and work independently to ensure safe, effective care.

The ideal candidate has an active CA RN license, 1–2 years of IV/infusion or home health experience, strong assessment skills, and excellent communication. Flexible per diem schedule, reliable transportation, and a patient‑centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of IV/infusion therapy or home health nursing preferred.
• Proficiency with PICC lines, central venous access, and infusion pump operation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible per diem schedule.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, and specialty medications in patients' homes.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments; educate patients and caregivers.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage IV access devices including PICC lines, ports, and central lines.
• Accurately document patient care, clinical findings, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safe medication handling procedures.
• Must have excellent IV skills.
