Job summary

Elemental Career Pathways is seeking a Per Diem RN Educator to lead our 3-week CNA Hybrid Training Program. You will guide future CNAs through hands-on skills and clinical training, turning online learning into real-world confidence.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientations, delivering engaging sessions, and maintaining regulatory training records. Travel 5–10 days per month across NYS is required.

Qualifications

• RN license current in NYS or eligible
• BLS certification required
• Experience delivering in-service education or clinical teaching preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Must have 1 year long-term care experience
• Must be able to travel 5–10 days per month across NYS

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate orientation programs for new nursing staff and patient care team members
• Develop and deliver engaging educational sessions, classroom instruction, and clinical training
• Maintain BLS Instructor certification and provide ongoing emergency response education
• Assess educational and competency needs related to clinical practice, equipment, policies, procedures, and quality initiatives
• Maintain records of training attendance and educational activities per regulatory standards and NYSDOH
• Support CNA development through presentations, online learning, simulations, and hands-on training
