Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem daytime shifts. The position offers $47.00 per hour with shift differentials for nights and weekends and a per diem scheduling model requiring a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week period.

As part of a national network of over 44,000 caregivers, you will provide compassionate, high-quality inpatient post-ICU care and participate in orientation and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment with documentation.
• Interpret lab/telemetry data.
• Transcribe medical orders accurately.
• Respond to rapid response and code events.
• Counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
