Job summary

Harmony Healthcare Long Island is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem coverage in our Nassau County health centers. The RN will provide patient-centered care, perform assessments, administer vaccines, and collaborate with the care team to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include NY RN license, 3–5 years’ healthcare experience, CPR/BCLS and Infection Control certification, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or Creole.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years healthcare experience, supervisory exposure.
• Licensed RN in New York state; CPR and Infection Control certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized patient care within the health center.
• Demonstrate nursing theory and practice to holistically care for patients.
• Assess patient physiologic health status and pain; document plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team; supervise LPN/MA as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and progress; ensure safety.
