Job summary

Harmony Healthcare Long Island is seeking a Registered Nurse for Per Diem coverage at our Nassau County health centers. You will deliver patient-centered care, administer vaccines, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires NY RN license, CPR/BCLS and Infection Control certification, and proficiency in English and Spanish or Creole. Per diem schedule with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• CPR (BCLS) Certification required along with Infection Control Certification.
• Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, judgment, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural and linguistic sensitivity to populations served.
• Familiar with computers (i.e. Microsoft Office).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized patient care program within the health center.
• Actively demonstrates nursing theory, techniques, and practice to holistically care for the patient.
• Assessing patient health status, pain, coping, and knowledge.
• Document patient health status and plan; monitor progress.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team in planning and carrying out treatment.
