Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN for CV Stepdown, per diem night shifts in Palm Beach County, Florida. The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and NIHSS training. One year of cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience is preferred.

You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with the team, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations.
• At least 1 year in cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care according to standards of care.
• Document accurately and ensure equipment readiness.
• Act as educator to peers, patients, and families; promote healing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
