• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year in cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care while providing a holistic view.
• RN ensures accurate documentation and adequate supplies; operates equipment.
• Act as educator to peers, patients, and their families.
• All aspects of the RN performance support service excellence and a healing environment.
