Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab per diem at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate nursing activities across the continuum, and support safe, high‑quality outcomes in a fast-paced cath lab setting.

Requirements include IL RN license with BSN preferred (ADN acceptable with BSN progression), BLS, and ability to work weekends/holidays with on-call responsibilities. Experience in cath lab or acute care is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Current IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion within four years.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care across the continuum.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Adhere to standards, policies and procedures and participate in quality initiatives.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
