Montage Health in California seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse who will plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care under department leadership, adhering to hospital policies and maintaining high quality of care, patient safety and customer relations.

Responsibilities include orienting new staff, precepting students, and serving as relief charge nurse as assigned; must have CA RN license, BLS, NIHSS stroke certification and ACLS during orientation; shifts are varied 12-hour, with no guaranteed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment.
• California RN license required.
• ACLS/Stroke certification requirements: NIHSS Stroke Certification required; ACLS must be obtained prior to completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care per hospital policies.
• Orient new staff and precept students.
• Relief charge nurse duties as assigned.
