Job description

A per diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in an ambulatory outpatient retail setting in Rockford, IL. This assignment is scheduled for 6 weeks with daytime shifts, providing a focused environment to apply your retail pharmacy expertise.

Responsibilities include managing a daily prescription volume of 200-250 scripts on weekdays and approximately 100 scripts on weekends. The position primarily operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential Saturday shifts based on operational needs. Utilization of Epic Willow for order entry is integral to daily duties, and training will be provided if necessary.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license is required.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Epic Willow is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be offered.

The role requires consistent oversight of prescription management and patient safety within a fast-paced outpatient retail environment. This position supports pharmacy operations with a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Possible Saturdays as needed
