Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Per diem Pharmacist for the Bedford, NH Retail Pharmacy location. The role focuses on centralized medication access, prior authorization, and patient counseling in a community setting.

The ideal candidate will have a NH license and a PharmD with ACPE accreditation, plus several years of health-system pharmacy experience. Per diem schedule, competitive compensation, and benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Interprets and submits requests for prescription prior authorization.
• Interprets prescriptions and creates orders in the EMR.
• Counsels patients on medication use and access to therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provides centralized medication access support for Elliot Health System patients.
• Coordinates medication patient assistance programs and lower-cost options.
• Oversees pharmacy technicians and provides in-service education as needed.
• Maintains quality assurance and drug utilization reviews.
• Ensures compliance with clinical guidelines and patient history evaluation.
• Communicates with physicians and clinic staff about access to medications.
