Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused team. The position is per-diem, likely 1 shift per week, with a $3.50/hour night shift differential.

The RT provides pulmonary care and life support per physician orders, contributing to diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures as part of the team. Qualifications include an AS in Respiratory Therapy, Idaho LRT licensure, current BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• Current LRT licensure through Idaho Board of Medicine.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English for safe patient care and documentation.
• Initiative and discipline in time management and medical record review.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS and PALS Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care per physician orders, department policies, and procedures.
• Administer pulmonary care and life support to patients with pulmonary deficiencies.
• Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures related to the pulmonary system.
