Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for night shift coverage. The role delivers pulmonary care and life support per physician orders, with a $3.50/hour night shift differential.

Qualified candidates hold ASRT in Respiratory Therapy and Idaho LRT licensure, with strong English communication and documentation skills. The position requires BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires ASRT in Respiratory Therapy and Idaho LRT licensure.
• Must communicate effectively in English for safe patient care and documentation.
• Demonstrates initiative, discipline in time management and medical record review.
• Effective interpersonal skills are essential.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care per physician orders, department policies and procedures.
• Administer pulmonary care and life support to patients with deficiencies of the pulmonary system.
• Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures related to pulmonary care.
