Banner Rehabilitation Hospital - Tucson in partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem/PRN shifts at our Tucson, AZ location. The role involves evaluating patients, administering ventilatory therapies, and delivering education to patients and families.

Responsibilities include operating respiratory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, conducting diagnostic studies, and documenting patient responses.

Qualificações

• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Explains purpose and procedure of treatments to patients and provides education on discharge.
• Operates ventilatory equipment and administers medications, oxygen and humidification.
• Performs chest physiotherapy and suctioning; monitors oximetry and capnography.
• Reviews chest x-rays and performs 12-Lead EKG; conducts pulmonary function studies.
• Assists with procedures related to respiratory care and monitors therapy efficacy.
• Maintains documentation of treatments and patient responses.

Conhecimentos

BLS certification

ACLS within 6 months

Formação

Current state licensure required

NBRC credential (RRT) or state equivalent; NBRC preferred
