Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem/PRN shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. You will operate ventilatory equipment, provide oxygen therapy, and conduct chest physiotherapy to support patient recovery across brain and spinal injuries, orthopedics, and neurologic conditions.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, recording treatments, and communicating with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Explain purpose and procedures to patients and provide education at discharge.
• Operate invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment and oxygen devices.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning as prescribed.
• Record treatments and patient responses in respiratory care records.
• Communicate therapy effectiveness with attending physicians.
